A window into the world of makers, YALI LUCE presents a site-specific installation to reimagine the shopfront ofone of Milan’s most iconic neighbourhood haberdasheries. Founded in the 1940s by Bruno Zanoncelli, Fonte diModa (Source of Fashion) specialises in every kind of fabric, button, thread or trimming one could ask for. Thesecolourful objects become the palette from which the presentation takes its cues, in a playful puzzle of lightwhere designs from the YALI LUCE collection, with their distinct colours and glassblowing techniques, mirrorthe vibrant interiors of the store. Portable by nature, the YALI LUCE collection adapts and responds to itssurroundings, with variations in colour and glass forming a subtle sense of movement, where the expressivenature of light in each configuration generates different spatial experiences. In this way, the display becomesdynamic, the latest iteration of an evolving nomadic project, where light knows no bounds. A Window of Lightalso becomes a window into the world of makers, shedding light on a reality that must be protected astechnology and convenience cloud the material and emotional connections that define our everyday. The YALI LUCE lamps are available for purchase onlinewww.yaliglass.comand in person at Galleria RossanaOrlandi and Galleria Sofia Zevi during Milan Design Week
