Porta Venezia Design District presents, at Milan Design Week 2024, the concept EverythinK is design. Reflecting the inclusivity and diversity, intrinsic characteristics of the neighborhood, with Everythink is design, the district intends to include many different areas within the concept of design, understood in the wide sense of conception and design, almost a catalyst of the ferments that arise here. The concept is inspired by Paul Rand, a graphic design legend who has changed the opinion of visual communication.
L’altro is a common expression that refers to the unspoken, to what is different.
L’altro becomes the exaltation of diversity, uniqueness.
L’altro is those who show their peculiarities with courage and pride and in their diversity have a wow and disruptive effect.
L’altro is what you do not expect and is: inclusive, alternative, new.
Porta Venezia is a district of Milan, cosmopolitan, inclusive, with rebellious soul, expression of a city in continuous evolution and trasformation. Surrounded by a gentle liberty style architecture, is one of the areas of Milan that has shown the most expressive and decorative variety.

New and unique, and clearly “different”, locations, create a new interpretation of environments and space: the enjoyment of design from a pop and democratic perspective, which will see the public protagonist.
Site-specific installations built in collaboration with designers and international editors and a selection of new and independent designers, will be key elements in interpreting the values of this new district, which lends itself to becoming an icon of the new era.
Porta Venezia Design District is located in one of the busiest and best served areas of the city. Just two metro stops from Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano), it is full of hotel accommodation, restaurants serving Italian and international cuisine, and venues for daytime meetings and night-time entertainment.

From the classic and fascinating Art Nouveau buildings, to disused former cinemas, deconsecrated churches, green areas to more neutral spaces suitable for the most diverse exhibitions, PVDD offers support in finding the place that perfectly meets the exhibitor’s specific needs in terms of budget and space.
PVDD, whose mission is the enhancement of diversity and inclusiveness, also proposes group exhibitions of emerging designers and studios, to promote new talent, allowing them to exhibit during the most important design event of the year, in the heart of the city, at an affordable price.
