On the occasion of Milano Design Week 2026 (April 20–24), Park – an interdisciplinary collective of architects, designers and researchers – presents The Meanwhile Club, a site-specific installation hosted at Park Hub (via Garofalo 31). The project is accompanied by a public music program curated by Le Cannibale, a platform active for over fifteen years across club culture and sonic experimentation. More than a finished installation, The Meanwhile Club takes shape as a critical reflection on the temporary use of spaces. The project transforms the studio into a temporary club where suspended time becomes design material. The installation is built through an archaeology of materials sourced from the archives of WAY, a historic Italian brand in interior and exhibition design. Structural elements and finishes are recovered and assembled without erasing their traces, creating a layered environment conceived to host experimental music. The temporary club comes alive each day with site-specific DJ sets that bring space, sound and sociality into dialogue, turning Park Hub into a vibrant and accessible place.
