During Milan Design Week 2026, MEET Digital Culture Center is the Central Hub of the Porta Venezia Design District. This year’s concept, “Design is Act,” inspired by Tomás Maldonado’s vision of design as an ethical and cultural responsibility, places memory at the heart of the creative act.
In this context, MEET presents “Renaissance Dreams,” a permanent installation created using artificial intelligence by Refik Anadol. Paintings, sculptures, texts, and Italian architecture from 1300 to 1600 are processed through GAN algorithms, generating an ever-evolving immersive landscape of forms, colors, and sounds. The archive becomes action: creative knowledge that is neither fixed nor lost, but transformed into living sensory matter.
